The Australian actress admitted in a recent interview that Swift’s intense workout routine for the Eras Tour motivated her to adopt a similar regime while preparing for her on-stage role.

Sarah Snook recently spoke to The New Yorker about a wide range of topics, including the physically demanding aspect of her Broadway role. Snook portrays a total of 26 characters in the said play, including the titular one, who decides to give up his soul in exchange for eternal youth. With such diverse responsibilities on her shoulders, she had to follow a strictly healthy routine in order to maintain the energy needed to do her job justice.
The actress explained the regimen she had been following, noting, “No alcohol, no caffeine. Sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. And I do my lines at pace on a treadmill, you know.” Upon hearing Snook’s explanation, the interviewer instantly pointed out the similarities between her and Taylor Swift’s approach while preparing for the Eras Tour. Snook acknowledged taking inspiration from the pop icon, saying, “I heard that and thought, ‘That’s a genius idea.’ I’m gonna do that.”
Swift revealed in a 2024 interview with Time that she’d started following a rigorous workout routine to get ready for her prolonged Eras Tour concerts six months before her first show in March 2023. As per the “Bad Blood” singer, she sang the entire song line-up for her concerts while sweating it out on a treadmill.
