Netflix’s new TV and movie releases for March 17-23 2025 include The Residence, Wolf King, and Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.
March 20 brings the three aforementioned projects to Netflix. The Residence is a mystery drama series created by Paul William Davies and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes. The story follows an intelligent but eccentric detective, who investigates a murder that takes place at The White House.
Meanwhile, Wolf King is an animated series created by Curtis Jobling. It follows a young commoner, who after growing up, learns that he belongs to a family of werewolves and is the last of their kind. He also learns that he is the heir to the throne.
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera finds Gerard Butler’s Big Nick hunting down O’Shea Jackson Jr.’s Donnie. The latter has joined the diamond thieves scene and has also become involved with the infamous Panther mafia.
Also dropping on Netflix this week are The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 1 and the film, The Outrun.
The Walking Dead: Dead City is a spin-off of the original The Walking Dead series. The story follows Maggie and Negan, who travel to a post-apocalyptic Manhattan in search of her kidnapped son.
Meanwhile, The Outrun follows Rona, a 29-year-old woman who returns to her home in the Orkney Islands. There, she attempts to come to terms with her troubled and messy past in London.
