Thaedus is a key protagonist and first viltrumite, who betrayed the empire and prevented its expansion. Peter Cullen lent his voice to this particular character.
Thaedus hails from Viltrum and saw the harsh, ruthless ways of his people as wrong. He marked his betrayal of the planet by assassinating the first Emperor, Argall. Later, he founded the Coalition of Planets, an organization dedicated to resisting Viltrumite expansion.
