She revealed that contrary to popular belief, her actual middle name was “Bonnie,” and not “Bobby.” Over the years, Brown, who catapulted to stardom via projects like Stranger Things and Enola Holmes, made headlines due to her fame and discussions on her physical appearance. More recently, the 21-year-old actress called out various media outlets for speculating about her appearance in a way she found disrespectful.

Millie Bobby Brown recently gave an interview with Buzzfeed UK alongside Chris Pratt while promoting their new movie, The Electric State.
Here, Pratt asked Brown if her middle name was “Millie Bobby Bonnie Brown.” To this Brown mentioned that her actual middle name was “Bonnie” and “Bobby” was not part of it. The Damsel actress then noted how she never told anyone about this fact. “Ya heard it here first,” she said in a humorous voice, addressing the outlet.
A surprised Pratt then tried to soak in what he just learned. He then asked Brown the reason she changed her middle name from Bonnie to Bobby. To this, the Godzilla vs. Kong actress cheekily replied with “for s—- and giggles.” Pratt then enquired if she did it for stage purposes, which she confirmed. “No s—,” Pratt replied.
Interestingly, the “Bobby” in Millie Bobby Brown’s name comes from her father, whose name is Bobby Brown.
Following Brown’s reveal of her actual middle name, the comments section of Buzzfeed UK’s social media post where they posted a clip of the reveal was rife with all sorts of fan reactions.
“Bonnie sounds so much prettier than Bobby,” one fan commented.
“No wonder eleven’s always going through it like bonnie bennett,” another fan wrote. This is a reference to Brown’s Stranger Things character and, likely, The Vampire Diaries’ Bonnie Bennett. Both of these characters have troubled and complex character arcs.
Last year, Brown, who had married actor and model Jake Bongiovi, the son of iconic musician Jon Bon Jovi, revealed via an Instagram post that she had adopted his last name as her own.
