Here are more details.

Millie Bobby Brown explains how she’s a ‘true Swiftie’

Millie Bobby Brown didn’t hold back when defending Taylor Swift during a recent chat with her The Electric State co-star, Chris Pratt. In a promotional video for their upcoming Netflix film, the two actors discussed the differences between growing up in the 1990s versus today.

When the topic of music came up, Pratt explained how albums were once listened to in a specific order on cassette tapes. The Guardians of the Galaxy actor said, “There was once a time where artists who made tapes, they curated their music into a very intentional list.” However, Brown quickly disagreed. She said, “No, that’s not true, Chris. Taylor Swift curates her album from start to finish.”

Pratt challenged her by pointing out that modern streaming services like Spotify allow listeners to shuffle songs in any order. He said, “You don’t have to listen to her album that way. You can go on Spotify and hit shuffle and listen to it however the AI decides.” However, Brown said, “A true Swiftie wouldn’t.” This isn’t the first time Brown has shown her admiration for the pop superstar. She has openly expressed her admiration for Swift in the past, even attending the Eras Tour in 2023.

This discussion between Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt was part of a promotional video for their upcoming film, The Electric State. The sci-fi comedy-drama, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, is based on the 2018 illustrated novel and is set to debut on Netflix on March 14.
