When Is The Monkey’s Digital & Streaming Release Date?

Viewers are curious about the digital release date of The Monkey after its recent theatrical debut. The horror-comedy movie centers around twin brothers who bring home a cursed toy, which leads to a series of deaths in their family. After a few years, problems arise again when the same toy returns to torment. With an intriguing plotline and solid performances, fans want to know when the movie will drop on digital and streaming platforms.

Here are all the details.

Here’s when The Monkey’s digital release date could be set

The Monkey could be expected to release within 25 to 45 days on digital platforms.

This speculation is based on past film release patterns under the production company, NEON. Mostly, after a movie’s theatrical run ends, it’s made available to watch within 1-2 months, which is comparatively a shorter time. It will be made available on several digital platforms, including Apple TV+, Google Play, and Amazon Prime Video.

The Monkey originally arrived in theatres on February 21, 2025. It could likely come on digital services in March or early April. For instance, previous NEON flicks like Immaculate and Longlegs took 25-45 days after their theatrical run concluded. Similarly, if the Osgood Perkins-directed movie follows a similar strategy, fans won’t have to wait longer to watch it.

When will The Monkey get its streaming release date?

Based on past patterns, The Monkey could arrive on streaming within 4-7 months after its theatrical run.

NEON, the production company behind Oscar-winning movie Anora, has struck a deal with Hulu to release their movies, months after the theatrical. For Instance, Immaculate was released on March 22, 2024, and arrived on Hulu on August 15, 2024, roughly 4 1/2 months later. If The Monkey follows a similar strategy, fans can expect it to be released between July and August 2025.

New users can avail themselves of a one-month Hulu (with ads) trial to watch the movie upon its release. After that, a subscription plan is needed, which starts at $9.99/ month.
