Who Got Voted off & Went Home in Survivor 48 Episode 2?

Curious about the latest Survivor 48 blindside? Tribal Council took a dramatic turn as shifting alliances and hidden advantages shaped a shocking vote. One player, confident in their strategy, found themselves on the wrong side of the numbers.

Let’s break down the key moves, the power shifts at camp, and how this vote could change the game moving forward.

Who got voted off in Survivor 48 tonight?

Kevin Leung was voted off Survivor 48 in Episode 2.

Kevin, who had initially secured a strong position on the Vula tribe, attempted to target Saiounia “Sai” Hughley, believing her idol made her a dangerous player. However, his efforts to rally his male allies backfired, painting him as untrustworthy. At Tribal Council, Sai used her idol to cancel the votes against her, blindsiding Kevin in a 2-1 vote. Mary Zheng had no say, having lost her vote.

Earlier, tensions flared in the Vula tribe as Sai and Mary clashed after Sai’s exclusion from the first vote. Meanwhile, across the tribes, idol hunts continued. Star Toomey found the Beware Advantage for the Lagi tribe but struggled to decode it, enlisting the help of Joe Hunter and Shauhin Davari. On Civa, Kyle Fraser successfully unlocked his idol with the help of Kamilla Karthigesu. Additionally, a journey resulted in Thomas Krottinger receiving a Steal-a-Vote advantage, while Mitch Guerra obtained a Block-a-Vote.

At the immunity challenge, Vula suffered another loss, with Jeff Probst calling their performance an “absolute abysmal failure.” Cedrek McFadden and Kevin Leung’s struggles in the challenge put them in danger.

However, Cedrek aligned with Sai and Justin Pioppi, recognizing Kevin as a bigger threat. Kevin remained unaware of the shift, believing Sai would be targeted. At Tribal Council, Sai openly named the “core four” alliance and played her idol, voiding the votes against her. The final tally revealed Kevin as the second person voted out of the game.

With Kevin gone, 17 players remain in the competition, split between the Vula, Lagi, and Civa tribes. The game continues next week with new strategic moves and challenges.
