Timothée Chalamet recently attended the Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) Awards ceremony. While he was not accompanied by Kylie Jenner, Chalamet wasn’t alone, as he brought an unexpected date to the awards ceremony, his mom, Nicole Flender. This greatly surprised many fans as Jenner had accompanied the 29-year-old actor to previous award ceremonies and events like the BAFTAs. Chalamet made history at the SAG Awards. He became the youngest winner of the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for his performance in the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown.

Timothée Chalamet recently attended the SAG Awards with his mom, Nicole Flender, instead of his usual date to awards ceremonies, Kylie Jenner. He wore a custom Chrome Hearts black-leather suit, a bolo tie, and a lime-green shirt, inspired by Bob Dylan’s style.
Upon receiving the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role award for his work in A Complete Unknown, Chalamet thanked his mother in his acceptance speech. He also mentioned that she had been working at Actors’ Equity for 40 years.
Timothée Chalamet’s mom was also a topic of interest in a recent interview the actor did with Extra TV. When asked about how his mother reacted to his SAG Awards win, he jokingly stated how his mother told him “Don’t forget to fold your laundry.” However, he then suggested that his mother in a way helped him win the SAG Award.

The official reason for Kylie Jenner’s absence from SAG Awards is unknown. One plausible reason is her mourning the recent loss of her hairstylist Jesus Guerrero, who tragically passed away at the young age of 34.
