Does Helly die in Severance Season 2?
Helly R faced a near-death situation in Severance Season 2 when Irv’s innie discovered her true identity as Helena Eagan. As one of the most powerful people to control the Lumon industry, Helena infiltrated the MDR group to gain crucial information about Mark. But many have speculated, Helena and Helly R’s attitude towards being severed and even death foreshadow a darker truth.
In Season 1, Helly tried to take her own life after discovering that she works as a severed employee. Later, when she discovers that her true identity is far more powerful than she had imagined, she feels disappointed.
But why did Helena agree to get severed knowing that she can’t be unsevered? Fans believe Helena does not accept the Eagan family’s practices, so subconsciously, she is looking for a way out by taking her own life as an innie and not an outie.
