50 Cent Calls Out Joe Budden Over ‘Therapy’ Comment

Renowned rapper and actor 50 Cent has issued a scathing reply to Joe Budden, who recently stated that the singer needs therapy, following the former’s Instagram post about Irv Gotti. In return, the Grammy winner took to social media to share his opinion regarding Budden’s statements, even alluding to his lewdness and stalking case that occurred in December 2024.

So, here’s what 50 Cent said about Budden in reply to the latter’s comments.

What did 50 Cent say about Joe Budden?

The “Baby by Me” singer responded strongly to Joe Budden’s recent comments on him.

In one of his recent Instagram posts, 50 Cent shared a screenshot of Joe Budden’s YouTube podcast. He wrote, “Stay out my mix Joe talking about I need therapy. B**** you need to stop walking around naked. The f*** is you doing in the hallway with ya b**** out PUNK!”

Since then, the rapper has also shared multiple posts dedicated to the popular broadcaster on the social media platform, publishing several semi-clad photos of Budden. This is in reference to the charges that the “Pump It Up” singer faced for allegedly showing up naked at his neighbor’s doorstep.

50 Cent’s reply comes after Joe Budden took offense to his Instagram post about Irv Gotti’s passing. The Den of Thieves actor recently uploaded a photo of himself smoking a hookah pipe beside a gravestone. It was seemingly dedicated to the late record producer, with the caption, “I’m smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL.”

While 50 Cent has since taken down the image, his joke apparently didn’t sit well with Joe Budden. As per HipHopDX, Budden noted in the now-removed episode of his podcast, “Hip Hop is the new meaning for ‘I need therapy. Kanye West needs therapy. 50 Cent needs therapy. I don’t care if you agree with the rationale. And 50 is 50. He gon’ stand in it. He gon’ stand strong in it.”

Budden then called out 50 Cent for his post on Irv Gotti. “If 50 feels like that, then go smoke a cigar in the cigar room,” he added. “I’m not telling him how to feel. Yeah, feel like that! [But how he went about it] is wrong.” While Joe Budden has since removed the podcast episode, he has yet to comment on 50 Cent’s response.
