What did Teddi Mellencamp’s sister say about her?
Teddi Mellencamp‘s sister Justice shared a black and white photo of the podcast host on her Instagram, unveiling a glimpse of her post-surgery journey. She wrote, “Watching a loved one suffer is horrific.” She further added, “She is by far the strongest person I know. So many emotions as I travel home today, but her village is the best one I’ve ever seen, and I’m so grateful for them! Your prayers are everything. Thank you.”
Previously, Teddi Mellencamp revealed on February 13 that she needed to undergo emergency surgery. The Two Ts in a Pod co-host explained that doctors had found multiple tumors in her brain.
The 43-year-old revealed via Instagram, “Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least 6 months. The remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”
Mellencamp’s estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, and other The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums also visited her at the hospital. Edwin Arroyave sent a message to the reality star’s fans via Instagram, showing his gratitude for the outpouring of support.
Arroyave wrote, “Our family is thankful to everybody for your continued prayers and well wishes. Teddi is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love while she continues to recover.” Meanwhile, Kyle Richards, Morgan Wade, Edwin, and more reality TV stars have visited Mellencamp at the hospital to show their support.
Additionally, Mellencamp has shown a positive attitude even before her surgery. While her friends trimmed her hair, she teased the new haircut as her “best look.” She also posted a selfie from her hospital bed with an upbeat caption, writing, “Counting down the minutes until my babies get here. As my dad said this am, God only gives hard stuff to those of us who can handle it. It’s a hard day, but I have faith and amazing surgeons and know everything will be OK.”
