Dex was investigating Sam McCall’s death but ended up getting stabbed after trying to stop a fight between drunk footballers. He passed away in the hospital due to a heart attack, and Josslyn got lost in his memories. She decides to seek justice for her lover’s untimely death, and it seems her search for answers will now land her in danger.
The recent promo released by the makers showcased the series of events taking place on Valentine’s Day. While it was a merry time for Portia-Curtis and Trina-Kai, some lives will be in danger thanks to the villainous presence of the dangerous Cyrus Renault. Josslyn is spying on Cyrus, who is suspected to be behind the deaths of Sam and Dex. She breaks into the killer’s secret hideout, but Cyrus catches her, leaving her pale.
As a result, fans have started to believe that Cyrus will kill Josslyn for spying on him. In the promo, he was seen filling a syringe with digitalis, which he might have used to kill Sam as well. However, it is not just Josslyn whose life is in danger due to Cyrus. The promo also shows Elizabeth, who wants to prove Cyrus guilty, in danger with the latter landing at her doorstep. At the end, a gunshot is heard, which might be directed at either Josslyn or Elizabeth.
