The recent death of Biff Wiff, an actor known for his roles in movies like Everything Everywhere All at Once, has greatly shocked and saddened fans. Wiff, who commenced his acting career in the mid-80s, has appeared in diverse roles in multiple notable films and television shows, such as Moonlighting and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Biff Wiff passes away, claims report

Biff Wiff’s death was confirmed by his talent management company Entertainment Lab.

The company confirmed the news via an Instagram post shared on Friday. It had five pictures, two of which were pictures of Wiff with comedian Tim Robinson, and his Self-Reliance co-star Jake Johnson.

“It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our beloved client and actor, Biff Wiff,” Entertainment Lab captioned the post. They then called the I Think You Should Leave star an “amazing person” and stressed that his “loving energy” touched everyone around him. Furthermore, the talent management company then expressed condolences to his family and loved ones.

While Biff Wiff’s cause of death was not named in the post, he presumably succumbed to cancer, as he had been battling the disease. Prior to his passing, he often documented his cancer treatment on social media.

The late actor’s friends had even launched a GoFundMe page in 2023 to support his cancer treatment. As of writing, a total of $127,800 has been raised. This page also revealed his real name as Garry Grotty.

Just six days before his death, Biff Wiff uploaded an Instagram post. In it, he thanked Daniel Kwan and Scheinert for casting him in Everything Everywhere All at Once. “It was a blast, and it was so great to be a part of something so cool,” Wiff added. Here, he also praised his co-stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Michelle Yeoh, and Ke Huy Quan.
