The One Chicago shows continue to dominate TV ratings, with millions of viewers tuning in to NBC each week to watch the latest episodes. Accordingly, as there is no new episode of Chicago Med, Fire, and PD tonight, people are wondering why that’s the case, and when the shows will return.
Here’s everything you need to learn about the same.
Why no new Chicago Med, Fire, and PD Episode was released on February 12
The reason NBC didn’t air new episodes of the One Chicago shows is unclear. Instead, the network broadcasts reruns of the fourth episode from the current season of all three shows.
This is not the first time the shows have taken a week-long break during this winter season. They also did not air new episodes on January 15. However, the network provided viewers with a reason for the short hiatus at the time. The shows didn’t broadcast on January 15 to allow for President Joe Biden’s final address to the nation. The following week, on January 22, all three shows returned to television. The episodes of Chicago Med premiere first at 8:00 PM ET, followed by Chicago Fire at 9:00 PM ET, and Chicago PD at 10:00 PM ET.
When will new episodes of Chicago Med, Fire, and PD return to NBC?
Like the one in January, this break is also one week long. The shows are set to return with new episodes on February 19, 2025. These new chapters will be Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 13, Take a Look in the Mirror; Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 13, Born of Fire; and Chicago PD Season 12 Episode 13, Street Jesus.
The upcoming episodes will continue the respective shows’ narratives. The January 29th episodes of all three shows were part of the crossover event, “In the Trenches.” They then returned to standalone plotlines in the following episodes.
