At the 1 hour 44 minute mark of his IRL stream, Kai Cenat was seen standing outside the 2025 Grammys venue. He then saw Kanye West and his partner Bianca Censori arrive, leading to him excitedly exclaim, “Oh my god!” and repeatedly whisper, “He’s right there!”
The 23-year-old streamer then approached West as the latter was greeting nearby people. “How you doing, Ye? What’s going on, Broski?” Cenat asked him on the stream. He then told the rapper that he would be seeing him at the event tonight. Their interaction seemed amicable.
Kanye West and Kai Cenat were once involved in a small feud. This feud occurred in 2024 when Cenat complained about a clothing package sent to him by West and his team during a live stream. Here, he mentioned that the clothes were too big and did not fit after he had worn them for a dance.
West had taken offense to this. This led to a tense exchange between the two on Instagram. Here, West angrily told Cenat not to make fun of his clothing, told him he was “controlled” and to not “play with [him].” However, Cenat denied that he made fun of them, saying he “showed love instantly” after opening the package. The streamer further added that he simply asked for a new pair.
However, West did not accept Cenat’s response and bashed him, calling him a “pawn.” He later called him an “industry plant” and said that the streamer was on “the wrong side of the future” in an appearance on The Download podcast with Justin LaBoy.
The two eventually made amends, however. Kai Cenat revealed on a livestream that West sent him a Happy New Year message. Cenat was excited and repeatedly claimed that the beef was over. An excited Cenat then proceeded to text the rapper back.
