Trudy is upset with Mouch for forgetting her birthday. He assumed she was unhappy with him because he was celebrating his promotion with future lieutenants, unaware of the true reason for her anger. Things get much worse when Trudy is tasked with investigating the fire, in addition to her duties of supervising the patrol officers.
