Doctor Strange cameo
Doctor Strange makes a cameo appearance in the first episode, where he is shown battling a creature resembling Venom. This appearance also contains a nod to his MCU counterpart, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. This nod is the character’s theme composed by notable MCU composer Michael Giacchino. The theme plays while Doctor Strange is fighting the Venom-like creature.
Tony Stark’s arc reactor
Iron Man, Peter Parker’s MCU mentor, gets referenced twice in the early episodes of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. These references are through a self-sustaining battery Peter and Dr. Carla Connors are working on, resembling his iconic arc reactor, and Aunt May’s car ornament modeled after the Iron Man suit.
Nothing Gets By You, Hawkeye
When Peter begins interning at Oscorp, his internship superior Dr. Bentley Wittman references Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye. Wittman does so by sarcastically telling him “Nothing gets by you, Hawkeye” after Peter does not put a slide in his microscope and he claims he could not see anything.
Captain America knows Norman Osborn
When Peter Parker is summoned to Norman Osborn’s office in Episode 2, a framed photo of Osborn with Captain America is shown. The smiling pose to the camera that each one adopts in the photo implies that they may have worked together on a project.
The Avengers Tower
While The Avengers themselves do not make an appearance in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the Avengers Tower makes a background cameo appearance in the first episode’s opening sequence.
Daredevil appears later
Daredevil has not yet appeared in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. However, he is expected to show up in a future episode, likely the sixth episode, titled “Duel with the Devil.” Daredevil will be voiced by his MCU actor, Charlie Cox. (via The Direct)
