Lady Gaga shares thoughts on kids with Michael Polansky
During her latest interview with Elle, the global celebrity confessed that she has given a lot of thought to starting a family with Michael Polansky. Lady Gaga noted, “That’s something Michael and I have talked about a lot — allowing our kids to be their own people.”
Lady Gaga then doubled down on how important it is for parents to allow their kids to have a rationale of their own. Conveying the point through the example of her music, she stated, “I would want my children to understand that whatever my artistry means to them is totally up to them. I would never actually want to shape it or tell them how to think about me.”
She also admitted that her future children will most likely question her about her past choices. However, Lady Gaga expressed that she will definitely be open to letting her kids chart out their own opinions about their mother. “My kid might one day say, ‘Mom, why do you do these things? I saw a funny video of you dressed up.’ Most certainly, that will happen,” she exclaimed. “And you know, maybe it’s okay to say, ‘What do you think?'”
In the interview, the Academy Award winner also disclosed that Polansky “helped me loads” in completing Mayhem. According to Lady Gaga, Polansky wrote a total of seven songs for her forthcoming album, which is scheduled for a March 7 release.
