FBI: International Season 4 Episode 9 confirms Vinessa Vidotto’s Cameron isn’t leaving

FBI: International Season 4 Episode 9 shows Cameron Vo survives after being shot, confirming she won’t leave the show.

The viewers learned in episode 8 that Cameron was still alive, but her condition was critical. Andre Raines, who stayed with Cameron at the hospital, told the rest of the team that “it doesn’t look good.” At the start of Episode 9, Cameron’s surgeon informs the rest of the Fly Team that while Cameron’s condition is stable, the risk of infection in the area where she was shot is quite high, indicating the situation can still take a turn for the worse. Ultimately, Vo survives. Then, Celeste informs the team that the other woman is in recovery and is going to be alright.

In an interview with TVLine, Vidotto revealed that she didn’t receive any heads-up about her character’s fate when she got the script for Episode 8. Vidotto explained, “It’s shocking. It’s exciting. I was intrigued because the way I went down was worth it. Because it was such a good script, it was so delicious. And it wasn’t hard to perform.”

The actress also revealed that she thought this was the end of her tenure on the show. She said, “There are some challenging days as an actor if the scene is difficult or whatever it may be, but those scenes that I got to do before he “kills” me/shoots me, I was like, “OK, that’s the way I want to go down. Worth it!”

In the same interview, Vidotto disclosed that there would be a time jump, and Cameron would continue as a member of the Fly Team. Further, given that she was spotted filming for the show in Italy recently, it’s safe to assume that she will appear in future episodes.
