Taylor Swift Praises Brittany Mahomes For Keeping Her ‘Calm’ During Chiefs Game

Pop sensation Taylor Swift has nothing but words of compassion for Brittany Mahomes, who seemingly helped her calm her nerves before the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills. With both ladies’ partners turning out for the Chiefs in their historic win, tensions were evidently running high in the Kansas City dugout. However, Mahome’s actions ended up working wonders for the “Bad Blood” singer, who was able to settle down after hearing her friend’s comments.

So, here’s everything fans need to know regarding the interaction between Mahomes and Swift.

Taylor Swift praises Brittany Mahomes after Chiefs game

Following the Chiefs’ win in their ultimate NFL game vs the Bills before the Super Bowl, friends and families of the victorious team took to the pitch of Arrowhead Stadium to celebrate. While commemorating the moment, Taylor Swift was seen embracing Brittany Mahomes as the duo danced to the tunes of The Bee Gees’ “Get Down Tonight.”

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the 14-time Grammy winner appreciated Mahomes’ efforts to help her stay composed in the build-up to the Chiefs’ AFC Championship bout. “You kept me so calm the last couple weeks,” Swift said to Patrick Mahomes’ wife while standing beside Travis Kelce’s mother. “My heart was in my throat,” the musician added.

Taylor Swift also disclosed that the game had her unsettled, but Brittany Mahomes’ text reading, “It’s gonna be okay,” helped the singer calm herself. After the conclusion of the high-octane clash, Swift also celebrated the Chiefs’ victory with her longtime beau, Travis Kelce. The two gleefully hugged one another before sharing a kiss under the flying yellow-red confetti.

With yet another playoff win, the Kansas City Chiefs have qualified for a fifth Super Bowl appearance in six years. Andy Reid’s men will now face the Philadelphia Eagles with hopes of becoming the first NFL side to record three consecutive Super Bowl wins.
