Ali Fedotowsky-Manno and Kevin Manno posted a joint Instagram video on Sunday, January 26, wherein they revealed that Kevin has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The pair sat together for the video and said, “We want to give you guys a quick update about something that’s happening over here in the Manno family, but I’m not stressing about it.” They shared that Kevin has papillary thyroid cancer. On a positive note, however, the couple revealed that it is “very treatable” and that they were very optimistic about his speedy recovery.
The caption of the post reads, “We found out recently that @kevinmanno has Papillary Thyroid Cancer. Thankfully it’s a very treatable cancer. He has 2 malignant spots on his right side and it appears it is also in one lymph node, but we won’t know for sure until his surgery.” Ali and Kevin confirmed that the surgery is scheduled to be on February 10, 2025, where he will have either half of his thyroid removed or the entirety of it.
The couple then went on to encourage their fans to share their stories if they have prior experience with thyroid cancer. They said that they were “specifically curious about stories related to whether or not you or someone you know had their full thyroid or half of it removed with the cancer only on one side.”
Kevin ended the clip on a warm and positive note, thanking his wife for her constant unwavering support throughout the whole ordeal. The couple then implored their fans to spend more quality time with their loved ones.
