All My Children Actor Colin Egglesfield Reveals His Cancer Returned for Third Time

Colin Egglesfield, widely recognized for his role in All My Children, recently revealed that he is battling cancer for the third time. The actor shared the news through a heartfelt Instagram post, prompting an outpouring of support from fans and well-wishers.

All My Children star Colin Egglesfield opened up about getting diagnosed with cancer again in a recent post he made on Instagram. In the post, Egglesfield shared a carousel of photos, documenting his treatment at the City of Hope Cancer Center in Phoenix.

Egglesfield opened up about the struggles he has faced since his recent diagnosis. He wrote, “The beginning to this year hasn’t been the easiest, but in the spirit of what I said in my interview, this is another opportunity to decide who I choose to be in the face of uncertainty and challenges in my most recent cancer diagnosis.”

Egglesfield revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer recently and had undergone surgery. He shared images of himself using a walker for support and a post-surgery photo to update fans on his recovery progress. Giving an update on his current state, he said, “I’m still a bit sore but I’m making progress and am determined to come back stronger and healthier than ever especially with the help of my sexy walker.”

In 2006, the Melrose Place actor was diagnosed with testicular cancer. However, he had surgery to counter it. Nevertheless, during another check-up it was revealed that the cancer had spread, moving toward his other testicle, which was his second cancer diagnosis. (via Parade)

In his recent Instagram post, Egglesfield also gave an update on his first post-surgery check-up, expressing gratitude toward the City of Hope team. He wrote, “First check up post surgery. Things are on track and I’m feeling positive.  large part due to the amazing peeps at @cityofhope hospital and their amazing @cityofhopecancerfighters team.”
