What happened in One Piece Chapter 1137?
One Piece Chapter 1137 solved the much-anticipated mystery behind the Shanks’ lookalike and his true mission on Elbaph Island. The chapter starts with the trio of Luffy, Nami, and Zoro going to search for the keys to Loki’s chains. As they enter the abandoned castle, the trio learns some historical facts about the wreck there from Road.
The wreck in the castle dates back to the events after King Herald’s murder by Loki. While the trio stumbles upon skeletons of giants they learn King Herald had horns on his head, suggesting he had ancient blood too. However, the king chose not to keep them and tore them off as he felt they depicted violence.
Readers further witness Gunko, one of the two Holy Knights, attacking Loki and his wolf with the Arrow-Arrow fruit as she threatens the prince to join. However, Loki still refuses to be a part of the Holy Knights. This leads to the Shanks’ lookalike introducing himself as Figarland Shamrock, World Noble Figarland Garling’s son and Holy Knights leader. He has long red hair and no scar on his face, making him different from Shanks. Shamrock also reveals his real mission behind recruiting Loki is to have Elbaph join the World Government.
