Fans have been wondering whether Dragon Ball Super will be leaving Hulu in 2025 after a leaked listing from the streaming service made its way across the web. It seemingly confirmed the finale date of its related show Dragon Ball Daima. Additionally, a message from the streamer also apparently confirmed the expiration date of Super and related shows, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT.
So is Dragon Ball Super leaving Hulu in 2025? Here is your question answered.
Is Dragon Ball Super leaving Hulu in 2025?
Dragon Ball Super has a slated expiration date of February 1, 2025, as per a Hulu message. This is also the case for the franchise’s other shows, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT. However, it seems the show may not be removed from the streamer as its official February 2025 schedule does not confirm it. Thus, it is possible that the streamer has renewed or will renew the license for the series soon.
But, if the license has not been renewed by Hulu or if they choose not to renew it, then the show could leave on February 1. If this scenario unfolds then fans can see the series on Crunchyroll in the U.S.
Fans can currently stream Dragon Ball Super on Hulu alongside the aforementioned Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Daima, and Dragon Ball GT, as well as Dragon Ball Z Kai.
Dragon Ball Super is based on the late Akira Toriyama’s manga series of the same name. It is set around a decade after Majin Buu was defeated and follows Son Goku and his friends, who all live peaceful lives. However, their idyllic existence is threatened when Beerus, the God of Destruction, enters the picture. Things are further complicated by Beerus’ desire to fight the legendary and prophesied warrior, Super Saiyan God.
Dragon Ball Super’s voice cast comprises Masako Nozawa, Ryo Horikawa, Hiromi Tsuru, Koichi Yamadera, Takeshi Kusao, and Eiko Yamada.
