The official trailer for Daredevil: Born Again is finally here, and it reveals quite a few exciting titbits about the upcoming MCU series. This includes the first look at Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, a new love interest of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock / Daredevil.
Here is everything you might want to know about Heather Glenn before Daredevil: Born Again premieres on March 4, 2025, on Disney+.
Who is Daredevil’s love interest, Heather Glenn in Born Again?
As mentioned above, Margarita Levieva will portray Heather Glenn in Daredevil: Born Again. Originally from Leningrad, Soviet Union (since renamed Saint Petersburg, Russia), 44-year-old Levieva is known for portraying Marcy Collins in Fox’s Vanished, Amanda Clarke / Emily Thorne in ABC’s Revenge, Gina Zanetakos in ABC’s The Blacklist, Natalie O’Connor in NBC’s Allegiance, Marina Litvinenko in ITVX’s Litvinenko, and Josie Riley in the crime-drama feature Inherit the Viper.
In Marvel Comics (spoilers ahead), Heather Glenn hailed from a wealthy background. Her father, Maxwell Glenn, was the head of Glenn Industries, which provided the family with a luxurious lifestyle. Heather met Matt in her ex’s apartment and quickly developed feelings for him. Although Matt initially resisted these feelings, he later started to realize that he reciprocated those sentiments.
However, things remained complicated between them due to Matt’s dual identities. When Matt went after Maxwell, suspecting him of embezzlement, Heather struggled to accept it. Her father’s eventual suicide and the revelation that Matt was Daredevil deeply impacted her. She ended her relationship with Matt and took control of her family’s company, desperately attempting to save her father’s legacy. She later attended Foggy’s wedding with Matt.
Despite that, things between Matt and Heather rapidly worsened. She experienced drinking issues and struggled with loneliness. After one last encounter with Matt, Heather died by suicide.
It is uncertain how much of the comic material Daredevil: Born Again will incorporate while narrating Heather Glenn’s story. However, one thing is almost certain: she will be a significant part of the revival, at least in its first season.
