Beyoncé delays January 14 amid LA fires
Beyoncé recently sent out a message via Instagram telling fans that she will be postponing her January 14th announcement.
The singer shared a note that reads, “The January 14th announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles. I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss.”
In her message, Beyoncé also commended the firefighters who are working toward containing the fires. She added, “We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles community.” Beyoncé also urged those willing to help the victims of the LA fires to contact her non-profit organization, BeyGood.
Furthermore, in the caption, the singer disclosed that the BeyGOOD LA Fire Relief Fund has also contributed $2.5 million to provide support to “families who lost their homes” in the fires. She stated that the fund is also aimed to help the “community organizations at the forefront of relief.”
