Kelly Stafford showed up to cheer for her husband, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, at the team’s NFL Wild Card game against the Minnesota Vikings in Arizona. She was accompanied by the couple’s four daughters. This comes after the Stafford family’s recent visit to the hospital.
Kelly Stafford shares how she attended husband Matthew’s game
In a series of images and video clips shared on Instagram, Kelly Stafford detailed how she was present at her husband’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday with her kids. Two days earlier, the couple had to take their twin daughters, 7-year-olds Sawyer and Chandler, to the emergency room of a hospital due to yet unclear reasons but it could be the flu.
In one of the video clips she shared on Monday, several members of the Stafford family could be seen in their seats on a bus. “We made it on the bus,” Kelly Stafford wrote. “Let’s go Rams,” the girls cheer in the video. “Let’s go daddy,” they were heard saying.
Kelly Stafford also shared a photo of a Los Angeles Fire Department patch attached to a blue hat with a pin.
The Rams’ game against the Vikings was shifted to the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The decision to shift was made due to the wildfires in Los Angeles. Matthew Stafford and his team performed remarkably well in the match, winning it convincingly with a 27-9 score. The Vikings had made history by becoming the first NFL team in history to win 14 games as a Wild Card team. However, the Rams succeeded in gaining an early lead and expanded on that throughout the game.
On January 7, Kelly Stafford revealed that she and two of her daughters might have the flu via Instagram. On January 11, she announced the visit to the emergency room. She wrote, “Last night was long. Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius.” (via Us Weekly)
Notably, Kelly Stafford is the sister of football coach and ex-player Chad Hall. She and Matthew Stafford married in 2015.
