The film centers on Frank’s life being turned upside down by the shocking kidnapping of his wife, Leo. It then delves into his past, exploring his experiences ten years earlier with an elite police unit in France known as the GIGN. During his training, he meets Nico, who becomes a close friend and helps him understand the significance of family in life.
Nine years later, the duo, along with their junior Ben, went on a dangerous operation. Franck received news of gunshots from a hotel doorman but decided to contact the local police as the case was not in their domain. However, the trio decided to show up at the hotel and handle things before the arrival of the backup.
Upon entering the hotel, they noticed two men and a woman walking down the stairs. Franck became suspicious and decided to approach them. Franck attempted to rescue her while Nico focused on stopping the unarmed man. In a confrontation, Franck managed to defeat the armed assailant, but unfortunately, backup arrived too late. Nico fell to the floor, bleeding from his wounds, and ultimately succumbed to his injuries. Overwhelmed by guilt for putting his team’s lives at risk, Franck was discharged from the unit.
