Taylor Swift has landed in yet another controversy after the singer was allegedly caught viewing the Instagram stories of a Joe Alwyn fan page. Notably, the two shared a six-year relationship before ultimately parting ways in April 2023. As such, Swift’s supposed interaction with the said fan page has caused the public to raise questions about their current dynamics.

Joe Alwyn’s fan page claims Taylor Swift stalked them
A fan page dedicated to the Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk actor recently disclosed that Taylor Swift was seemingly viewing their stories on Instagram. Following their revelation, many accused the account of concocting the entire controversy in order to gain popularity.
In response, the account, @a.girl.named.aurora, shared a screen recording to prove their claims. In the said snippet, the page’s administrator scrolls the viewer section of one of their stories, only to reveal Taylor Swift’s account there. As per The Express Tribune, the user justified their actions by stating, “I had no interest in sharing the screen record and bringing this up again. It was just interesting and funny to me, and I had no other intention.”
The aforementioned Joe Alwyn fan account also explained that they captured the screen recording, which supposedly exposed Taylor Swift’s online antics after the stories in question had expired. This is why no one was able to view the usernames and insights sections.
This development has generated mixed reactions on the internet. Many have accused Taylor Swift of intentionally viewing the story via her personal Instagram account to entice Joe Alwyn. Meanwhile, others have jumped to the “Bad Blood” singer’s defense and have pinned the responsibility on Swift’s PR team. Interestingly, this debacle comes just days after Alwyn publicly stated that he has moved on from the 14-time Grammy winner.
