Here is everything you need to know about the new vinyl edition.

Taylor Swift’s new ‘Lover (Live from Paris)’ vinyl edition has sold out

Taylor Swift’s vinyl release edition, Lover (Live from Paris), has created yet another wave of excitement among her fans. Announced unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, this exclusive edition was made available on her website with a clear warning: it would be on sale until Friday at midnight or while supplies last. As it turned out, supplies didn’t last long. Fans quickly snapped up the vinyl, which sold out in less than an hour.

The live album was originally recorded during an intimate 2019 performance in Paris. It features eight tracks from Swift’s Lover album and has long been considered one of her rarest releases. Its initial 2023 vinyl edition became a highly sought-after collector’s item, with resale prices often going as high as $1,000. This new heart-shaped vinyl pressing has already garnered similar enthusiasm, with some early buyers listing it on resale platforms at marked-up prices.

Swift’s team hasn’t disclosed the exact number of units sold. However, fan estimates suggest that between 100,000 and 150,000 copies may have been released. This surge of sales could potentially boost Lover (Live from Paris) to a high spot on the album charts, competing with some of the biggest current releases.

For fans who secured a copy, shipments are expected to begin on January 20. It could make the album a contender for chart impact later this month. Meanwhile, those who missed out are left hoping for a potential restock. However, no announcements have been made.
