Skeleton Crew Episode 7 Ending Explained: What Happens to SM-33?

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 7, We’re Gonna Be in So Much Trouble, is now available on Disney+, and the viewers are wondering what happens to the droid SM-33. The story revolves around a group of lost children traversing the galaxy with the hopes of finding a way back to their home planet, At Attin. In this episode, they finally manage to do so but soon realize that Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law) is also there, looking to claim the legendary treasure of the planet.

Here is everything you need to know about the ending of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Episode 7.

Does SM-33 die in Skeleton Crew Episode 7?

Yes, Sm-33 has likely been destroyed in Episode 7 of Skeleton Crew. Jod and the pirates arrive in the solar system where At Attin is located, but they are unable to get through the barrier around the planet. It is only after the children arrive on the Onyx Cinder that Zod gets the opportunity not only to enter the atmosphere of At Attin but also to kill Brutas and re-establish himself as captain.

When the children try to escape on the Onyx Cinder, they discover that Jod has secretly come on board. SM-33 squares up against him, but Jod decapitates him with his lightsaber. SM-33 is effectively “dead,” but that doesn’t mean he is completely gone. After all, he is a droid, and can potentially be brought back later as long as his memory core is in one piece.

Will Jod kill the kids and their parents in Skeleton Crew?

This episode of Skeleton Crew ends on a cliffhanger. Jod and the children land on At Atton, but not before Jod threatens them that he will hurt their parents if they reveal the truth about him. The droids on the planet subsequently take them to one of the vaults, which are filled to the brim with credits. As the episode ends, Jod turns on his lightsaber and approaches the children and their parents menacingly.

Even after the penultimate episode, Jod’s role in the story remains unclear. He often acts like the primary antagonist, but several of his actions in the show go directly against what one can expect from a villain. So, we can’t be entirely sure whether Jod will go through with his threats. But even if he does, the mysterious Supervisor might stop him.
