What are Mr. Fantastic’s powers and abilities in Marvel Rivals?
Mr. Fantastic aka Reed Richards will be gracing the roster of Marvel Rivals on January 10, 2025, and the game has already given fans a sneak peek into all his abilities. Gamers can play the popular Marvel hero from 1:00 AM PST or 4:00 AM EDT. Thanks to his elastic abilities that let him stretch all body parts to incredible lengths, Mr. Fantastic will serve as a Duelist. This means that he can engage in combat and resist damage efficiently. His ability to twist and contort his body to extreme lengths makes him a versatile fighter in the arena.
Marvel Rivals has recently released gameplay footage that shows Mr. Fantastic’s powers in action. Here are all the powers and abilities that the character comes with, as noted from the gameplay:
- Stretching Strikes – This is Mr. Fantastic’s most recognizable ability where he can stretch his arms and attack an enemy from long distances.
- Muscle Inflation – This ability makes Reed Richards quite similar to the Hulk. Richards can inflate his body which lets him counter incoming attacks.
- Multi-Target Grab – He can grab hold of more than one enemy at a time and slam them against each other.
- Ultimate Ability – His most lethal move is launching a series of familiar aerial slam attacks but Richards’ move has its own unique twist based on his unique abilities.
As well as Mr. Fantastic, his better half Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, and the other two members of the Fantastic Four, the Human Torch and the Thing, will also be joining Marvel Rivals at the beginning of Season 1: Eternal Night Falls.
