Is There a The Brutalist Streaming Release Date & Is It Coming Out?

The Brutalist graced theaters across the United States last month. This has led to fans wondering when the film would be coming out on streaming and whether a streaming release date for the movie has been confirmed.

Here’s all information about The Brutalist’s potential streaming release date we have.

Is there a The Brutalist streaming release date?

The Brutalist’s streaming release date could arrive by April 2025.

This is because A24, who distributed the film in the United States, typically releases its films on streaming platforms four to five months after its release. For instance, Alex Garland’s Civil War, which hit theaters on April 2024, arrived on streaming on September 2024.

Thus, if The Brutalist follows a similar release pattern, then its aforementioned April release window is all the more likely. However, an official streaming release date has not yet been confirmed.

The story follows László Tóth, an architect who travels to America and reunites with his wife Erszebet, whom he got separated from during wartime. Tóth settles in Pennsylvania, where he meets Harrison Lee Van Buren, who recognizes his brilliant architectural skills. Unfortunately for Toth, he finds himself tangled in a complex web of legacy and power.

Where is The Brutalist coming out?

The Brutalist is anticipated to come out on HBO Max.

This is because A24 and Max (formerly HBO Max) reportedly struck a streaming deal in December 2023 according to which their films arrive on the platform following their theatrical releases.

Adrien Brody headlines the film, playing the lead role of László Tóth. Supporting cast members include Felicity Jones, Guy Pearce, Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, and various others. Director Brady Corbet co-wrote the script with Mona Fastvold
