Will Sylvester Stallone return for Rocky 7?

Stallone seems to be done with the Rocky franchise as he did not appear in 2023’s Creed III. He last played Rocky Balboa in Creed II. Also, the actor is currently involved with Paramount Plus’ Tulsa King Season 3.
However, Stallone did have plans to make Rocky 7 once upon a time. These plans unfortunately fell through, with the actor holding producer Irwin Winkler and his family responsible. Stallone slammed him when it was announced in 2022 that a Drago spin-off was put into development.
In 2023, via a now-deleted Instagram post, Stallone shared the beginning excerpts for Rocky 7’s screenplay. It revealed interesting plot details about the unmade movie, including the appearance of a 27-year-old fighter called “Chucho the Mutt.” However, it was unclear as to whether Chucho would be Rocky’s protégé or his opponent in the ring.
