John Capodice passes away at 83, claims report

John Capodice passed away on December 30, 2024, at the age of 83.

The New Jersey website, Pizzi Funeral Home, made this shocking announcement. Capodice’s obituary read, ”John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him.” However, the cause of his death was not disclosed.

Born on December 25, 1941, John Capodice hails from Chicago, Illinois. As per People, he served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966 and participated in the Korean War. After his military service, he pursued a career in acting and landed his first role in the ABC television series Ryan’s Hope. He then appeared in guest roles on shows such as Spenser: For Hire, Kate & Allie, Murder She Wrote, Seinfeld, Knots Landing, and Law & Order. Capodice continued to build his successful career with appearances on notable shows like Moonlighting, The West Wing, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Additionally, he performed in theatre productions like Getting Out and got the opportunity to appear in the Broadway play Requiem For a Heavyweight. Capodice also had film credits like Q, Family Business, The Doors, See No Evil, Speed, and Hear No Evil. Additionally, he turned voice artist in the 2010 video game Mafia II.

John Capodice is survived by his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. A tribute to his life will be held on January 12, 2024, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart RC Church in Sparkill.
