During the Detroit Pistons’ game against the Orlando Magic, Jaden Ivey was forced to leave the court after suffering a leg injury in the fourth quarter. The guard was having a strong performance before the incident but was visibly in pain after he got injured. Ivey’s injury has raised concerns for both the Pistons and their fans.

How did Jaden Ivey get injured?

Jaden Ivey’s impressive performance was cut short during the Detroit Pistons’ game against the Orlando Magic after a concerning injury in the fourth quarter. With just over 10 minutes remaining, Ivey’s lower left leg took the brunt of a collision when Orlando’s Cole Anthony dove for a loose ball. The force of the impact knocked Ivey to the floor and he immediately clutched his shin in pain. Medical staff quickly surrounded him, while players from both teams gathered to provide support.

Ivey was eventually taken off the court on a stretcher, with fans at Little Caesars Arena showing their concern through chants of “Ivey.” At the time of the injury, Ivey was having a standout game. He scored 22 points on 8-for-11 shooting. Before the injury, Ivey was having an excellent performance, averaging 17.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham said after the game: “It is tough on the whole group. To see him hurting like that is tough on us. He’s built for it, he’s going to shake back knowing him.
