Peacock’s new TV and movie releases for December 30, 2024 – January 5, 2025, include Jesus Revolution and Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins Season 3.
December 31 sees the release of the film Jesus Revolution on Peacock. This film is directed by Jon Irwin and Brent McCorkle from a script penned by Erwin and Jon Gunn. The story, set in the 1970s, follows Greg Laurie, a teenager who has no life goals. His life dramatically changes when he meets a street preacher and hippie named Lonnie Frisbee. Teaming up with pastor Chuck Smith, the trio attempt to revive a failing church.
Joel Courtney, Kelsey Grammer, and Jonathan Roumie headline the film. Supporting cast members include Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Anna Grace Barlow, Julia Campbell, Alexia Ioannides, and Matthew Montemaro.
Also coming out on Peacock on the 31st is Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins Season 3. This crime documentary series follows the title character, who investigates romantic relationships that started out pleasant and intimate but ended in a gruesome manner.
Also dropping this week is the finale of Snapped Season 34.
Snapped is a crime documentary series that was created by Deborah Allen, Todd Moss, Geoffrey Proud, Stephen Land, and Zak Weisfeld. The documentary primarily revolves around women, typically mothers, wives, and girlfriends, who are often at the center of murder cases. Sharon Martin, Jody Flader, Laura San Giacomo and Ronnie Farer have served as narrators of the documentary’s episodes.
