Is there a Pushpa 3 release date?
Pushpa 3 does not have an official release date, but it may likely be announced in the future.
The film will reportedly go into production in 2028 or 2029. This is because the franchise’s star Allu Arjun is expected to shoot two other projects in the coming years. Meanwhile, director Sukumar will be focusing on his next film, starring Ram Charan Teja (via MoneyControl).
Pushpa 3 was first confirmed ahead of release, albeit accidentally. This was thanks to the film’s award-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty sharing via a now-deleted X (formerly Twitter) post a picture that confirmed the movie’s title as Pushpa 3: The Rampage.
This photo was later reshared on X by columnist and film industry tracker Manobala Vijayan. The post-credits scene of the movie further confirmed Pushpa 3 via its cliffhanger ending, which showed a mysterious figure setting off a bomb at Pushpa’s niece Kaveri’s wedding. This scene was followed by the threequel’s title reveal.
Allu Arjun had previously mentioned in a Variety interview in February that fans could expect a “part three.” He shared, “We do want to make it a franchise and we have exciting ideas for the lineup.”
