Will Kristen fire Belle from DiMera Enterprises in Days of Our Lives?
As per the latest spoilers, EJ will pressure his sister Kristen into firing Belle Black from DiMera Enterprises. However, Kristen will stand her ground, arguing that Belle is a highly skilled lawyer and that she should not be let go.
Previously, EJ is angered by Belle’s interference in his dealings with prisoner Dr. Mark Greene, whom he was eager to send to prison for 25 years for attempted murder and had proposed a plea agreement. She represents Greene at the behest of her nephew Tate’s friend Aaron, who is Mark’s brother.
Moreover, Belle ruins EJ’s mood by pointing out how Greene’s crime took place in France, a foreign country that he has no jurisdiction over as a district attorney. Her intervention results in his sentence being reduced to just 18 months, to EJ’s dismay. However, spoilers also indicate that Belle and EJ could rekindle their past fling and start a romance. He is particularly pleased when she informs him that she divorced Shawn Brady.
In 2022, EJ and Belle had a one-night stand on Days of Our Lives. This was after she represented him in a kidnapping case involving Sami (Alison Sweeney). EJ later offered Belle comfort when she was struggling with the reality of Jan Spears giving birth to Shawn’s baby.
Actress Martha Madison, who plays Belle, had mentioned in a 2022 Soaps interview that her character and EJ had the potential to start a “serious” relationship. However, at the time, she didn’t think a wedding would be possible between the two. Madison noted that if it happened, Sami would be in attendance.
