On December 19, the former TV host attended the Florida International University’s graduation ceremony to cheer her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
Overall, Wendy Williams appeared to be doing well during her latest public appearance. Seated on a red and black scooter, she sported a sparkly attire paired with a big ring, several accessories, and black shoes in images obtained by People. Williams also wore a necklace with a ‘W’ letter and had a Louis Vuitton cup holder beside her.
After almost two years, Williams was spotted publicly, given she remained away from the limelight for quite a time after her several health issues emerged. Previously, she has been open about experiencing medical problems, including Lymphedema and Graves disease. However, earlier this year, Williams also informed the world through a press release about her dementia diagnosis.
The statement further disclosed that Williams underwent some medical tests in 2023, after having trouble with her memory and verbal abilities. As per the diagnosis, she had been suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. “The decision to share this news was difficult and made after careful consideration, not only to advocate for understanding and compassion for Wendy but to raise awareness about aphasia and frontotemporal dementia and support the thousands of others facing similar circumstances,” the statement read.
However, Wendy Williams’ statement also assured fans that the renowned TV personality getting all the necessary medical care and attention for her well-being.
