Grant DuBose sustained a head injury in the Dolphins’ 20-12 loss vs the Texans.

The unfortunate incident occurred in the third quarter of the said match. Taking on the Houston defense, DuBose occupied a spacious position, allowing quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to pass the ball to him in the hopes of securing a first down. Nevertheless, the play was intercepted by opposing safety Calen Bullock, who tackled DuBose in the process.

This clash ultimately ended up inflicting a serious injury on Grant DuBose. The game was halted for 12 minutes as Miami’s medical team took their time to assess the wide receiver’s situation. They eventually decided to cut off the player’s jersey and pads and escorted DuBose off the field on a stretcher.

When will Grant DuBose return to play for Dolphins?

At the time of writing, the extent of Grant DuBose’s head injury remains unknown. As such, it is difficult to predict his return to full fitness at the moment.

Talking about his player’s condition, coach Mike McDaniel did provide some update on Grant DuBose’s injury in a post-match interview. “So far, there has been some positive feedback related to some head and neck imaging. He will stay here overnight, and we will find out more tomorrow,” the veteran tactician said, according to The Phinsider.

The Miami Dolphins are scheduled to face the San Francisco 49ers in their next NFL fixture.
