While some tracks were rumored to exist or partially leaked, others were entirely unknown to fans. “I’m listening to this stuff, and I would get goosebumps because nobody’s ever heard this stuff before,” Musgrove said.

The Michael Jackson Estate clarified that they do not own the physical tapes but retain the copyrights to the music and compositions.
