Since then, Taylor has come out to provide an update on his star player’s situation. According to Manchester City‘s official website, the English tactician noted on Friday, “We’re awaiting the scan obviously, which is taking place today, and we’re just awaiting the results.”
The English giants are presently experiencing a massive injury crisis, with Alex Greenwood becoming their latest casualty. Aside from the defender, City are missing other key players, including Vivianne Miedema, Lauren Hemp, Naomi Layzell, and Khadija Shaw. While Hemp and Miedema are expected to be sidelined for long, Khadija Shaw could regain fitness much sooner.
