Kraven the Hunter: Do Venom, Morbius or Madame Web Appear?

Viewers are curious to find out whether Venom, Morbius, or Madame Web make appearances in SSU’s latest installment, Kraven the Hunter. This standalone movie delves into Kraven’s rough origins and his evolution into the most feared hunter. Given that the films are all set in the same universe, many fans are anticipating exciting cameos from characters in Sony’s Spider-Man franchise.

So, can fans expect exciting crossovers? Here are the details.

Do Venom, Morbius, or Madame Web appear in Kraven the Hunter?

No, Venom, Morbius, or Madame Web do not appear in Kraven the Hunter. However, easter eggs related to them can be expected.

There is no chance of Venom appearing in Kraven the Hunter, given he died in Venom: The Last Dance. In the final moments of the story, Venom sees the difficulty in defeating Knull’s Xenophages and realizes that a sacrifice is necessary to end their threat. To save Eddie, Venom makes the difficult choice to drag the creatures to the acid tanks, where he dips them into the acid, ultimately sacrificing himself in the process. As Venom’s revival possibilities are not yet teased, it is unlikely that he will appear again for some time.

The absence of Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web is not surprising for fans as Johnson seems uninterested in pursuing roles similar to the one in her recent Sony film. In an interview with Bustle, she acknowledged the film’s underwhelming performance while admitting it to be a learning experience and showcasing her disinterest. She said, “It was definitely an experience for me to make that movie. I had never done anything like it before. I probably will never do anything like it again because I don’t make sense in that world. And I know that now.” Additionally, she also quit WME, the agency that secured her role in Madame Web.

Jared Leto had expressed his interest in reprising Morbius in the future but he does not appear in Kraven the Hunter. This is because director J.C. Chandor has mentioned that the movie focuses solely on Kraven and doesn’t try to set up other characters. (via ScreenRant)
