Spy x Family will continue to be on a hiatus due to mangaka Tatsuya Endo’s poor health.
The popular manga had been on a break since early October this year when it released Chapter 107. Fans were expecting to get new chapters by November 25, but Shueisha had some disappointing news instead. The publishing house announced that the manga is set to go on a hiatus. Additionally, they recently dropped a new update regarding the matter and confirmed that the hiatus will continue.
On a post made on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, Shueisha stated, “Regarding the next update of “SPY×FAMILY,” due to Endo Tatsuya-sensei’s poor health, the series will be on hiatus on December 9th. We apologize to everyone who was looking forward to this release for keeping them waiting. The next update is scheduled for December 23rd. Thank you very much for your cooperation!”
Despite the unfortunate news regarding the hiatus, fans have kept their spirits up. As mentioned above, they have a new chapter to look forward to on December 23. Albeit, further details of when the manga will return to its usual release schedule are still awaited. Meanwhile, fans have taken to the internet to wish creator Endo Tatsuya-sensei a speedy recovery from his health problems.
