Liam Payne Reportedly Gave Kate Cassidy $35K a Month Before His Death

As authorities continue their investigation into the death of Liam Payne, new revelations about his relationship with girlfriend Kate Cassidy have emerged. Payne was reportedly financially supporting Cassidy, a social media influencer, with a significant monthly allowance.

Here’s all you need to know about the story.

Liam Payne was paying for Kate Cassidy’s lifestyle expense before his death

Liam Payne’s tragic death has left his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, with significant changes to her lifestyle. Page Six‘s sources revealed that before Payne’s passing in October, the singer was financially supporting Cassidy. He was providing her with $10,000 per month for living expenses and covering additional costs of around $25,000 a month through his credit card.

She also reportedly made several shopping trips with Payne’s stylist. The couple had recently settled into a large home in Wellington, Florida. It has now been put back on the market following Payne’s death, as per TMZ.

Since then, Cassidy has returned to the US. A close friend also emphasized that Cassidy has no plans to claim any part of Payne’s estate, as they were not married and he has a son. The friend told Page Six, “Of course, [Payne’s death causes] a financial setback, but her sadness has nothing to do with the money — she’s sad that she lost Liam. The money doesn’t matter in comparison. But she’ll have to move and regroup, and she’ll find a new place to live as she heals.”

In the wake of Payne’s death, Cassidy traveled to the UK and attended his funeral with One Direction bandmates, along with the pop star’s friends and family. As the investigation into Payne’s tragic fall in Buenos Aires continues, Cassidy is now facing new adjustments.
