General Hospital fans have been angry with Cyrus Renault‘s presence in the soap opera. Despite being repeatedly stopped by her mother Laura, the ongoing premise features him continuing to stalk Lulu and not respecting her boundaries. His recent annoying behavior is not sitting well with viewers who clearly want him out of the storyline.

Why do General Hospital fans want Cyrus gone?

General Hospital fans are reportedly annoyed with Cyrus due to his repeated attempts to meet Lulu and interfere in her medical decisions without her permission (via Sportskeeda). The latest episode, which premiered on December 3, shows Laura summoning Cyrus in her office to give him a final warning to stay away from her daughter. Showcasing her disappointment, she warns him to stay within his limits and avoid getting close to Lulu. Further, it didn’t sit well with her that he tried to decide Lulu’s medical care.

However, it appeared as if Cyrus had no effect of Laura’s words on him as he continued to remain confident. He explained to her that he wasn’t responsible for Lulu’s condition and that he didn’t kidnap her either. Having a hard time believing him, Laura makes a tough decision — she gets a restraining order against him.

She firmly held Cyrus responsible for all of Lulu’s trouble, including her running away from Turning Woods. However, now, she cannot risk her daughter’s life anymore. She informed him that she was getting him arrested for stalking Lulu and controlling her medical care, while on parole.

Anna Devane and Dex also backed her up for doing the right thing for Lulu’s protection. Nevertheless, Cyrus tried his best to explain that he has done nothing and that his prayers brought Lulu back to life. However, it seems like Laura won’t be hearing any more comments from him. In addition, Anna asked Dex to bring Cyrus to the police station to proceed with the formalities of putting him behind bars.
