A new inclusion to the globally beloved The Lion King franchise, Mufasa has inspired several theater chains to create amazing popcorn buckets and drinking cups dedicated to the iconic king. The movie arrives in theatres on Friday, December 20, 2024.

AMC
The popular theater chain has announced its unique line of collectibles ahead of the much-anticipated release of Mufasa: The Lion King. First up is a 130-ounce light brown popcorn bucket with the movie’s logo etched on the side along with silhouettes of various animals from the savanna.
Moreover, the bucket has an interesting LED light-up effect, which resembles the sunset. Besides the bucket, AMC has unveiled a drinking cup to go with it. It sports a minimal design with Mufasa: The Lion King written over a picture of the titular protagonist in a majestic stride.

Fans can purchase the popcorn bucket for $24.99 plus tax, while the 44-ounce drink cup will retail for $24.99 plus tax. For those who wish to purchase both together, they can get the combo for $32.99 plus tax.
Regal
Regal Cinemas has also unveiled its line of popcorn buckets and drinking cups, both of which boast a stunning design. The bucket takes the form of the iconic Pride Rock fans know and love from the Lion King franchise. It also features a miniature of Mufasa standing tall and proud at its edge, recreating the iconic scene from the movie.
Additionally, the top of the rock mountain opens up to reveal the container for the popcorn. Other Mufasa: The Lion King merchandise available at Regal theaters also includes a blanket with a pillow pouch, a collector drink cup with a dome lid, and popcorn tins. These come with illustrations of both Mufasa and Taka.
Fans can purchase Regal Cinemas’ Pride Rock popcorn bucket for $49.99. Meanwhile, the dome-lid collectors drinking cup retails at $14.99 and the blanket can be purchased for $24.99.
Cinemark
Finally, Cinemark too, has dropped its first look at their Mufasa: The Lion King popcorn bucket. It is designed in the likes of an antique totem pot replete with imprints of stunning African imagery, with Mufasa’s face etched in the middle. The popcorn bucket also comes with a neck strap and can be purchased for $24.99.
