Jennings and Villanueva broke up months ago. However, Villanueva recently accused her beau of cheating on her with actress Maris Racal.
Villanueva recently took to Instagram to share her side of the story after being “attacked” by individuals after her split with Jennings. She revealed about hearing inappropriate things “about her character” and family after their breakup, which prompted her to speak up. She has been hurt and upset about people dragging her family into this. To protect her close ones, she decided to “share [her] truth.” (via The Manila Times)
She added, “I’m choosing to let go of the weight of these rumors. I’m choosing peace for myself and my family, and I hope you can respect that too. To those who have stood by me and continued to support me, I am forever grateful. I hope this helps you understand where I’m coming from.”
Villanueva started her story by revealing that she initially had no troubles with Racal and Jennings being together as she respected their show-biz careers. Despite witnessing some “red flags,” she kept on supporting them. However, it eventually hurt her. She claimed that Jennings cheated on her with Racal and exposing him was her way of proceeding forward — “not with anger, but with strength, hope, and the belief that better days are ahead.”
Later, she revealed a series of screenshots of Jennings and Racal’s conversations, which consisted of loving and cheeky texts. She revealed that Jennings consoled her that the exchange between the duo was nothing but “method acting.” Jennings apparently did it to make Racal “feel loved and appreciated” as she was going through a tough time. “He believed that showing her care was the only way to make their work go smoothly and for his partner to function well,” Villanueva further explained.
Although she trusted him at that time, Villanueva later discovered their sexually flirtatious exchanges and evidence of them making out, among other things, the screenshots of which she shared online. She confronted Jennings about it but received just an apology. After disclosing numerous screenshots that flagged Jennings’ alleged infidelity, she remained appreciative of their good memories together.
