Due to Star Wars: Skeleton Crew taking place around the same time as The Mandalorian and Ahsoka, fans have been wondering whether the leads of the latter two series will be making an appearance in the new show. Is Din Djarin going to cross paths with Skeleton Crew’s main cast while on a bounty mission? Moreover, will Ahsoka Tano show up and offer the crew some guidance?

Will The Mandalorian or Ahsoka appear in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew?
An appearance from The Mandalorian or Ahsoka is unconfirmed for Skeleton Crew, as of this writing.
However, fans believe that Din Djarin/Mando, Ahsoka, or even Grogu could make a cameo appearance at some point in the series, if not the finale. This is not only because of Skeleton Crew taking place around the same time as the two shows but also because the pirates from The Mandalorian have appeared in the new series.
Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, the co-creators of Skeleton Crew addressed such a possibility in a recent interview with TechRadar. Watts opined that it was an “exciting” prospect. He also claimed that there was a “chance” the cast could meet “surprising people” (likely alluding to established Star Wars heroes) at some point in the series.
Meanwhile, Ford stressed how the main cast of Skeleton Crew appearing in other projects “would be kind of telling the story of them growing up and finding their place in this galaxy.” However, on the other hand, in this same interview, Watts also addressed the series’ placement at a time when no one in the galaxy could come and aid them in their adventures if they got into trouble.
Thus, an appearance from Din Djarin, Grogu, or Ahsoka seems very unlikely. Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether any established Star Wars protagonist will make an appearance. Albeit, if such a scenario unfolds, it will no doubt be exciting for fans.
